Parks & Recreation

It might be "Small, Serene, Simply Garnett", but this small community is not to be taken for granted. Garnett boasts 3 lakes and over 1,000 acres of parks.  These parks are packed full of outdoor and indoor recreational amenities. 

Add to the 1,000 acres of parks a 51-mile hiking and biking trail, the Prairie Spirit Rail Trail.  Garnett is the midpoint, or "heart" of this Kansas trail (managed by the Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks).
